Christian Louboutin said it right, "Some shoes are for the bedroom not for the workroom."

there's something zen {about zenyatta}

I first became interested in the lovely leading lady Zenyatta  from some racetrack friends and from watching last season's Jockeys with veteran great Mike Smith as Zenyatta's leading jockey. My hometown is pretty close to the  race track so I wasn't surprised or disappointed to bump in to Zenyatta's Mane man Mike Smith dining at a favorite Mexican Restaurant. I couldn't even fathom acting like the obsessed fan that I am by introducing myself, that and the fact that I think his girlfriend and fellow jockey Chantal is pretty special herself.  This weekend was the Breeders Cup and all eyes were on Zenyetta and Mike Smith for her possible 20th consecutive win and perhaps last ride as a race mare. She was up against the boys in this race and the gallant girl known for her foxy trot and fans all around smitten with her regalness were on edge as she galloped from far stretches as she is known to do and came to within a nose of defeat to a 4 year old Colt named Blame, ridden by another favorite, Garret Gomez.  Even I was heaving heavy sighs as I heard the news but mostly in essence of the expectation we have of animals and this particular 6 year old thoroughbred to captivate us, move us, and make us proud. Zenyatta, you have captivated me, moved me with your dance moves, and continue to make us proud, Cheers Zenyatta, I heard you love your stout!

You can see more of this ethereal editorial here. Reminiscing on this heavenly scent by Hermès that tantalized my senses behind the chair on a client. I think it's always nice to leave a lasting impression with your fragrance.  What are you currently wearing that you love?

babes on the boardwalk

Like I'm not already obsessed by females remotely resembling Rita Hayworth or Ava Gardner. I do think I belonged in this era. Just looking at the sexy silhouette of the sculpted heels, the curves, the cocktails the hairstyles and the Men! More behind the scenes of this beachy keen shoot here

bedtime dreams + {lace up heels}

Achy back? That was me for the last few day. At first I thought it was that backbend inversion to a upside down dog ( don't quote me). I decided to give my mattress a flip. Have you ever done that? I was amazed how high my mattress was, after all it is a pillow top I forgot the concave figure of my body had made a permanent indentation that I wasn't even aware of. As I prepare for my bedtime dreams I think will be dreaming of these heels seen here. More looks from the collection on this glamorous site here

weekly salon visit

Yesterday's  LA times claims here the trend of weekly salon coiffs with full on roller sets and messy chignon's are back When I first started in the business this was a weekly event for the  mature and rich. Not anymore according to trends like this every expanding franchise,  The Drybar with style only services mimicking a girls favorite drink palate.  How do you feel? Do you treat yourself to salon visits for a smooth, snarl free blowout or do you tame your mane at home?
I am currently growing my hair out, I wish I was inventive enough to have my hair look this cute especially on those days when only a ponytail seems to do. I have a thing with head bands they are usually too tight for my mane of hair, any recommendations that work for you?
When I do ponytail it up a little back combing makes the old ponytail look new

treats for the sweets + {LV luxury}

Vet visits are not my favorite thing nor for my furry best friends. To make things better a few peanut butter cookie treats as seen here followed by a walk make it all better. LV lust seen here complete with a dog collar reminds me that someone has a Birthday coming up. Lana has a vintage one perhaps the Bruno boy should have one too after all in my house it's a dogs life as seen here. More from this lovely editorial here. More vintage LV finds here and my lust here. I'll take any of these lovely bags above how about you?
