I'm not one for jewels, bangles or bracelets at work

come the weekend I just want to play, bring out the bobbles and bling.

 Did I ever mention losing my Tiffany key chain, car keys and all? The engraved inscription on the key ring says, "Please return to Tiffany & Co." so you know what I did? I called them to see if they had been returned. no luck there but they turned up in an unexpected place later.

When I use to think of grey with a swag the bride of Frankenstein or Cruella de Vil use to come to mind. Not anymore, after seeing this lovely lady, Jacqueline Jabonski. What do you think? Love it or leave it? More grey hair making a model statement here.

Le Bouffant, how to get the look* start on clean, dry, hair I favor color enhancing shampoos like Aveda or Bumble and Bumble to remove any unwanted yellow and make your silver or grey hair shine. Spray with Elnett, or Shaper these are my favorites, Use your rat tail and start back combing toward you. Hair ends should be sticking up with some support from the tease. spray again and smooth just the surface start to smooth and tuck under use bobby pins to keep in place. You can also criss cross pins together for more support, I like to keep them out of site. Use black hair pins for dark hair, gold for blonde, to brown hair.

 Inspiration Jersey Shore? I first heard reference about it here, on The View,  I watched this MTV show for a few episodes but this one is too gtdl (gym, tan, and dirty laundry) for me!  "The Situation," giving pointers to Elisabeth Hasselbeck on how to do sit ups correctly (hey I was taking notes) More laughs from Nicole aka," Snooki," when asked "When did she know she was famous?" and her answer, "since birth." Good self esteem is never a bad thing. The beehive inspired updo is one of my personal favorite, Amy Winehouse  wore an over exaggerated one, Brigitte  too. Looks like today will be a dirty secret kind of day for me in regard to my hair. With a busy work day ahead I would rather spend this time with you to share one of the Golden Globe nomination's, An Education . Love the darling actress, Carey Mulligan as Jenny, kind of reminds me of a young Katie Holmes. We see her grow up before our eyes as the desire of an older man captivates her heart. Glimpses of Oxford college, smoky nightclubs, sultry music, 60's inspired hairstyles, and faux furs and hats. Reminiscing on hairdo's past and present. This new product from Sebastian Volupt, for big hair paired with NioSpray, love the reflectives gives hair a shimmer even on fine hair with out  weighing it down. Currently educating myself with a new computer  blue tooth software, flush keyboards, and hidden buttons, took me a bit to figure it all out but it's good to be back!

holiday hair

 I thought I would share these holiday hair looks from Matrix hair team. I think they pretty much cover the range of styles from short to long. Not to overdone but classic and pretty. I find that most clients now are vowing for those styles more. A little undone is a little more modern now. Gone are the days of pouffed up bouffants with tons of Elnet. Now it's about the tease but smoothing like cotton that is tangible and touchable unlike the coiffs of the past.  What holiday hair styles work for you? Is it curly, wavy, straight and sexy?
