tuesday inspiration {diamond dust}

All that glitters.. diamond dust in hair products and in make up Stila has a new set of sparkle for eyes

inspired by this 70's style hair and make up with over the top lashes
 A modern twist on this little pouf of a beehive
Affordable luxury for your hair with these new products created with a little diamond dust nourishing for color treated hair and intoxicating to the senses. I always remind my clients your hair is an investment. Using the proper color care products will only make your hair color look better longer.
and one more product I can't help but add any time you can refresh with a clarifying shampoo you give your hair a healthy break from buildup.

Just for fun this twist below reminds me of the cone I had at Mc D's yesterday.. ever have one of those days? It's tax season I needed a break!

make up for every occasion

I just love the look and feel of fresh skin
I prefer very little coverage  for daytime with just the right components to take it to evening my choices below

a tinted moisturizer with a little SPF and a little pot of powder perfect for touch ups, lovely accents like this jeweled pigment powder are perfect for a little luster
I like to add a little crème tint for blush and for lips a nude pencil does wonders to cover imperfections,  on the lip line and add a base for your favorite color or gloss. A colorful palette perfect for spring
I love a little night time drama with a smokey palette. For daytime individual lashes give tired eyes a lift. For night time sexy me up with a long kitten lash. With a creme liner and a flick of your hand as close to the lashes as possible to create this season's sexy look. What are your favorite choices for make up this season?

wild child

I just love leopard, cheetah, faux animal prints. Even in my home one of Lana's favorite resting places are on my Leopard lounge chairs which she does a lot of lately. Reading this post today inspired a few of my favorites above. Imagine my excitement when I saw J.Crew and their new Wild at Heart Collection.  Clothing as dramatic as me! Even with all of the Brazilian Blowout craze I still love Wild hair.
and unforgettable make up, eye catching accents on this dress remind me of these wild lashes below

Inspiration {discipline}

Discipline does take a lot of time and practice just like yoga .  So many good things in my day to day life that take time and practice, practice, practice. Inspired by this lovely lady's rocking redhead, I recently took one of my blondes this color, she loves it. Had the opportunity to create a new look on some really kinky, hair like this. The trick is conditioned hair and the right products for this curly texture. I used the brazilian blowout masque, which I find leaves my brazilian blowouts so conditioned when followed by the proper after care at at home, more about the brazilian blowout here. Practice and education is essential for staying on top of my game. Have had the pleasure of working and learning with Nick Arrojo and inspired by all of his razor cutting techniques which men and women alike ask for in the salon.  Beside's all the beautiful wedding hair, I find myself so inspired with the billowy, soft, updo's, that can easily be worn for a day to night time look like this. Enhancing a clients new look with make up and a soft summer liner, is like the icing on the cupcakes, speaking of, do these not look divine? A great recipe here. Some much needed obedience classes here have been making my mornings brighter, it's amazing how the essence of what we learn in one area, in this case, discipline, relaxation, obedience, can enhance our lives in other areas. More puppy love here, and some lovely, lash inspiration here.

a sight for sore feet

Pink and bling very Sex and the City

What can I say I like big hair especially set with these

Love the voice memos on my iphone I use it to prepare for presentations

Talking makeup with clients and friends especially lashes

Designer cupcakes from here are lovely, but the red velvet chocolate here, make me drool

Colors like this pure fun

After working many hours in my high heels seeing this image from this blogger's cool sight made me smile.. Some things I am loving right now in the Salon : Volupt Shampoo and Conditioner, the cushion particle technology fills in the hairs fiber to keep it full and voluptuous with out being heavy. I love this Fekkai shampoo to keep hair from unwanted build-up. Using Mouse Forte for blowdrying and styling. For more polished straighter looks adding a little Liquid Gloss. Very Curly hair a little Taming Elixir with a spritz of Halo Mist. For the men, Microweb Fiber or Matte Putty does hair good. Using Texturizer for long hair like this, reminiscent of Nicole Richie here

chanel eye candy

Love the look of Chanel's Spring Atelier collection as seen in Elle  es. Not only was I inspired by the eye embellishments of sequins and pearls but I got to brush up on my reading in español. I always love the behind the scenes action as seen here via Vogue TV. Check out Chanel's global creative director, Peter Philips give some great make up blending advice, prep for a Chanel runway show with a peak at legend Karl Lagerfield, as well as the making of these lovely embroidered lashes. True make up artistry at it's best along with a little model mayhem. Another way to create this look; Starry Eyed glitter eyeliner's by TwoFaced, along with a little white eyeliner lining the lower rim of your eye like this followed by a flutter of lashes
