old world beauty

old world beauty recipes

garancedore mentioned her mother's favorite rosewater here

tres flores another old school product that has been around forever that can be used on skin or hair

I absolutely love it when I hear my clients tell me about their beauty secrets some that are inspired from the garden like this  rose tree oil, to add to your bath or moisturizer. After standing for hours in my heels I long for a soak with lemon, cinnamon, milk, to keep my "toeses roses," a remedy from this book. Exfoliating dry skin is essential, just in time for summer, with this home made brown sugar scrub. Do you have any beauty recipes you'd like to share?

My grandmother always smelled of rosewater, and I use Burt's Bees rosewater toner because it brings back the best memories. Plus it smells wonderful!

Girl, you just took me back with the Tres Flores. I remember being a little kid and playing with my aunts make up and she kept a bottle on her dresser.
BTW, I know EXACTLY the aviators you were referring to. So hot!
Thanks for stopping by my blog ; )
