Vive la Différence

Vivienne Mackinder is a hair industry icon. She unveils her new role as fashion director for ICA Intercoiffure America • Canada with this recent  photo shoot and takes hair to new heights as shown here in these retro-couture styles. This took place in The City Of Lights, complete with mobile salon where she styled and dressed the hair using lovely backdrops in their Parisian pristine. For us hairdressers in the salon this kind of work brings new styling techniques back especially hairdressing. For these looks that means dusting off those hot rollers and curling irons and bringing out bobby pins, spray gel and Elnett.

SO glam. I've been seriously considering trying out hot rollers again. Haven't busted them out since middle school!

Hey Gina darling. You've got such an interesting blog here. I'm loving the concept.

You know I've got times when my hair looks all messy and it is time to go to the hairdresser. But you're so completely clueless of how to cut it. Now, your blog is such an inspiration. I'll never get confused again. Thanks!!!!!
